- Position:
- Provide technical direction and support to customers on operational and
maintenance aspects of electronic measurement and control systems, to serve
as a customer contact on technical and service related issues.
Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex electronic
instruments and control systems. Check out and approve operational quality of
systems. Instruct customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of systems.
Interface with engineering on design, reliability, and maintenance issues.
Travel domestically and internationally approximately 70%
of the time to customer sites.
- Requirements:
- Knowledge of computer operating systems including Windows 2000/NT/XP
and the general hardware setup for computers.
Good oral and written communications skills.
- Education:
- Two years technical school or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Two years of experience as an electronics technician,
field service technician, or customer service technician.
